然后再下个星期三还是星期四就是感恩节了，要去弗吉尼亚一阵。
还不说学校那边还有东西要交……

头疼，然后作了讨厌的梦……

暂时不想玩山口山了。搁置一下吧。

Headache. Busy. Need to run trips into Manhattan and then go to Virginia for Thanksgiving. Not happy about that. Project also due. Not at all happy about that, either.

But damn, I almost bought this month's issue of GQ at Time Square. Oh Chris Pine, why are you so fine? Why? (Oh, he is also GQ's Breakout Star of the Year. Yeah, huge surprise there, srsly.)

Anyway, I think I'm going to go to the store and get myself some fruits before I become incapacitated again....sigh. I hope I will feel okay tomorrow when I go watch the Metropolitan Opera's Turandot with dissociate. I actually prefer Broadway to Met operas, myself, but I'm rather attached to the idea of Turandot. (Saito Chiho also did a short manga on it...)

Oh and, it's official now: I will be in Asia and largely out of LJ commission from 12/27 to 1/31. All the plane tickets have finally been booked. Although alexwish2005, I need to talk to you about my itinerary in Japan....I need to know what deals would the JR be offering! Never mind, I'm definitely buying the Japan Rail Pass. Although now I am debating a short trip to Korea while I'm at it....

For the record, spookyfbi is BEYOND AWESOME, and not just because of her videos.

We spent literally hours talking about the logic and logistics of plot bunnies. So...Mirror!Girl!Spock here I come!

I also vaguely want to do something with the Five Star Stories universe ST plot bunny in Chinese. We will see how that one turn out... (Not optimistic though, honestly, because alexwish2005 is, like, totally laughing at me.)

But that's okay, as I'm also totally laughing at buoy because of her Cradled by Stars, which she posted without a final beta because BOTH of us found it unbearable to spare one more look at it after the long and arduous writing process. Well chica, we need to fix stuff. But then again, that's what LJs are for.

Going to bed, at last. Hope I dream about my bunnies.

She closed her eyes briefly. There was something utterly distasteful about this undertaking. Not because her squadron, having ascertained the authenticity of the deflector shield access code on that planet, was about to annihilate some four thousand Klingon colonists—that would be regarded as the collateral damage of war; but this Klingon's betrayal of his own people germinated a dark seed within her. No warrior's anthem for this one. No death ritual. Only desecrated honor.

"The first attack will commence in fifteen minutes," she notified her informant. "If you wish to leave the planet, do so now. The Empire's military will not make a distinction between you and the general populace."

"No need, Commander." The Klingon laughed at the other end of the transmission line. It was a crazed, bitter sound. "Today is a good day to die!"

"Indeed." She smiled grimly. "Today is a good day for someone else to die."

The transmission ended. She turned to look at Subcommander Tal.

"Get the type-R plasma torpedo launcher ready. We attack in five minutes."

1. I'm going to start substituting every gratuitously used "t'hy'la" in a fic (especially as a spoken term of endearment) with the word "slut" (also as a spoken term of endearment). Let the good times roll!
   
   
2. Love Mirrorverse, both TOS and XI. Love Mirrorverse K/S. Love Mirrorverse girl!Spock with her captain. I don't know why.
   
   
3. Actually I just really like girl!Spock in general. The permanent, always-been-a-girl kind, especially. With Kirk I can't deal with the permanent version. I blame it on the fact that I dislike the names Jane and Jamie intensely. They don't feel Kirk. (Yet temporary girl!Jim screwing with Spock is endlessly fun, no denying that.)
   
   
4. Chris Pine really is too damned pretty for his own good. Like, I don't go for boys, but if I did I'd hit that like The Angry Fist of God. Yeah.
   
   
5. Continuation of 1: Can they please stop declaring eternal love for each other in fics already? WE KNOW. The whole bloody Alpha Quadrant knows, including the folks over at Time. There should be a frequency cap which mandates you can only write it once per 10k words!

Hell that was hard, but I'm glad we got through it and turned out something respectable, dissociate! (Okay so maybe respectable is a subjective word, but hey.)

But before that I wanna say: I like CSI: NY even though I hardly watch it. Hill Harper as Sheldon Hawkes is AWESOME! I wonder if he can be slashed with Don....

另外就是，母亲大人下达指示说她和俺爹不放心我一个人在北京上海晃，于是我在两个地方都被莫名其妙地塞进了世交(这个词好汗)的发小家里。我听到这事情的时候很是囧了一把：再怎么小时候睡一张床，现在这样子你们也真好意思让我跑单身男人家里去住啊……但是很明显他们就是真好意思，而且对方据说也是主动请缨，所以北京的客栈是住～不成了。

不过他们也真是，唉。我好歹一个人在纽约东京晃荡N年也没出过什么乱子啊……这还包括年少轻狂时候乱勾搭人的一把囧事。

The happy_trekmas fic is FINALLY coming along, but I am having difficulty writing about the sexytimes part while having Natsukawa Rimi's Kanayo Kanayo stuck in my head.

Anyway. Heard about how NUMB3RS might be cancelled after this already shortened season. Not sure how I feel about that.

At this point I don't feel like I'm invested in the series anymore. I don't know why it just hasn't stayed with me like Bones have. I guess my interest in it died when my OTP (Larry/Charlie) died. I mean, I don't know, I like Aminta fine, but I just don't see the chemistry between her and Charlie. Don/Liz died too, which is a shame because I love Liz. (Aya Sumika? Hotter than hell...WHY IS SHE MARRIED!) I do hope she gets into a serious relationship with Colby, though. Colby is such a nice kid. And the way she calls him "Granger"? *_*

Speaking of ships, though, in a rather freaky coincidence, I watched Addams Family Values yesterday...and OMG, Peter MacNicol (aged 39 at the time) was in it as an annoying/fakey camp counselor while a 15-year-old David Krumholtz was a kid at the camp. This was, of course, some twelve years before they would work together again in NUMB3RS with their characters as my (previous?) OTP.

Oh, Larry/Charlie, I don't know how I got into your ship, but it was awesome while it lasted. (And Miriam Heddy's fics, damn.)
