tower of light

but let judgment run down like water (SPN drabble, Michael + Anna)

but let judgment run down like water
Supernatural gen drabble
by Renata Lord (snowlight)

The mortal flesh incinerates beneath his fingers, reverting back to ashes and dust. It gives off a peculiar smell, much like the endless rain of sulfur in his memory.

Michael!

He reaches for her inner Grace, all that is beautiful and true in an angel of the Lord. It vibrates like a celestial song in the palm of his hand, an echo of the beatific vision.

Shhhh...

He watches, content and serene, as the note ends and the light flickers away to die.

He remembers her from her childhood under his guidance and care—her laughter as she gave chase to her sisters, her confusion when her wings began to change, and her uncontained awe at the sacred Mystery when she first witnessed that timeless creation.

He remembers all that, and feels absolutely nothing.

Our Father always forgives, but we do not.

Love Michael

and his holier-than-you smugness.

Re: Love Michael

What can I say. He is holier than...uh, everybody except for God, Virgin Mary, and Jesus.
⋯⋯迷Michael迷成啥样才会想到要写这种片断啊~
他上场第一件事情就是便当了Anna....他是我的英雄!
Erk. You know, it does sound like something that would be running through his head while he executed Anna. Because that was what it was; an execution.

Brilliant and scary.
Oh, I love this. I was very surprised at the ease with which Michael killed Anna, especially when later on he talked about how he did not want to have to kill Lucifer.

It vibrates like a celestial song in the palm of his hand, an echo of the beatific vision.
I love this line.

Michael is a fascinating creature.
Yes, fascinating is the right word. I think so far he is presented as the perfect angel...would be interesting to see where that leads.

Beautiful and chilling.
Ooh, ouch. And really, if Anna had succeeded Dean would have been killed too, so it's no surprise Michael was pissed.
Oh wow this hurts.

He remembers her from her childhood under his guidance and care—her laughter as she gave chase to her sisters, her confusion when her wings began to change, and her uncontained awe at the sacred Mystery when she first witnessed that timeless creation.
I love that line so much.
